The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Pelicans FC (10-3) in San Jose on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by third ranked Roswell (6-7) 93-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pelicans FC. Roswell maintains third place with 6-7 record having just nineteen point less than leader Metropoli. Defending champion Pelicans FC still keeps top position with three games lost. Roswell are looking forward to face Jaguares (#5) in the next round. Pelicans FC will play against the league's second-placed Limon Sh. (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from San Jose: Abogados (#4) and ARBA (#3). ARBA was defeated at home 82-92 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Abogados (7-7) moved-up to third place. ARBA lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Abogados will play against league's leader Metropoli in Cartago in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ARBA's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in San Jose to the arena Escazu.

Metropoli maintains first place with 7-5 record, which they share with Limon Sh. Grecia at the other side keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. Metropoli will meet Abogados (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Grecia will have a break next round.
